I cover a five state sales territory for my job and I’m always on the road.Allow me to introduce myself. I am a 27 year old, traveling salesman, turned fitness enthusiast. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Paige and we now have three beautiful daughters: Brooklyn, Olivia, and Harper.

Throughout my weight loss journey, I went searching for websites and forums dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle while traveling away from home, but came up empty handed!
TripFitness.com is dedicated to everything travel fitness related that I had to learn on my own.
I recently have lost more than 32 pounds (and counting) while traveling away from home multiple days every week.
I didn’t have some magic pill found in a magazine or late night infomercial, nor did I starve myself to lose weight. I lost weight and became healthy once again by being more cautious about what I put in my body and busting my butt in and out of the gym.
I work with numerous salesmen in my current career and many struggle with their weight. They are busy professionals, but don’t know where to start. Most busy professionals I come across complain how difficult it is to maintain their fitness on the road.

On this site, you won’t find your typical advice, but you will find real world advice. I will talk about the importance of cheat meals, tracking your progress, diet styles, travel fitness and workout routines which will help you stay in shape while traveling.
I’m not a doctor, nor a dietitian, but I speak from real world experience. I have been actively working out for the past 12 years on and off. (The off time was when the extra 40 pounds came.)
I understand what it takes to succeed and want to teach you.

Between graduating college, getting married, starting a career, and keeping up with three children, fitness took a back seat…
My lifestyle change came about one day when a few things happened.
- I stepped on the scale and had to look behind me to see if one of my children was standing on the scale also.
- I looked in the mirror and was offended by the fat, out of shape guy that was staring back at me.
- I saw a prior boss (who has no filter) which I haven’t previously seen for about five years. He said, “What happened to your physique? You let your physique go…”
My double chin and love handles had grown friends over the past five years. French fries and cheese burgers became the norm, since I was always on the go. Appetizers, Beers, and Deserts came with every “business meal”. I watched as my belt notches continued to migrate outward. I bought bigger pants and shirts.
It was finally time to make a change in my life!

Time to Take Control!
I decided to follow a carb cycling diet and get back in the gym.
The way the diet works is; I followed a low carb diet for five days throughout the week and switched on the weekend, eating mainly high carb and low fat. This is the easiest and most effective way I have found to lose weight quickly and efficiently!
Throughout this website, I will help guide you through the journey of regaining your fitness and begin watching the fat fall off.
At my heaviest, I was 6′ and 226 lbs with a lot of lost muscle mass from my college days.
Nowadays, I weigh 192 lbs and feel like I am almost in the best shape of my life! It is all about lifestyle changes, building good habits and making healthy eating/fitness a routine.
